BodyForging Yoga Fused with moves from Power Yoga, Tai Chi, Martial Arts and Pilates that incorporates nearly 20 different movements. Each discipline has its own breathing technique, movement and focus that is brought together almost seamlessly in a wonderful flow. This allows the individual to take the best part of each discipline for them.

Yoga – has its focus on breathing and finding stillness in challenging postures. This helps to build inner strength.

Pilates – has emphasis on the muscles and movements that teach us strength through the supple flow of thesee movement from our shoulders to our pelvis.

Martial Arts – teaches us to respect the challenges that we face with dignity and strength not only of body, but also of mind.

BodyForging was created by Kevin Philion in 2002 in Aventura, Florida.

It is a Fusion of Power Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi and Martial Arts taught in a 1 hour class in Gyms and Spas.

Kevin has recently joined together with Elizabeth Hoffmann the help in the teaching of these unique classes.

These two together work has a perfect team. Elizabeth to bring in the “Body” work while Kevin brings in the “Power” of these Yoga Classes.

Not only can you take BodyForging Classes, but if you are someone who is fit and has instructional experience, you can take their certification classes (see link below). This can be a new and exciting feature those people already teaching various classes such as other brands of Yoga or Aerobics.
